During this intensive course you will receive instruction from Max on the skills required to be a tactical tracker. You will learn various tracking techniques from around the world.

You will learn the FAST AGGRESSIVE TRACKING TECHNIQUE (FATT) that delivers results!

This course is open and aimed at those wanting to improve their tracking skills, novices and those interested in using tracking as part of their profession. Especially suitable for security personnel and anti-poaching specialisation.

The course content includes:

Elements of Tracking
Action Indicators
Camouflage and movement in the tracking role
Tracking team formations
Track Pursuit drills
Lost spoor procedure
Deception Tactics
Awareness, observation and use of all senses.
Judging the age of sign/spoor
Booby trap awareness
Combat tracking
Camp/target/asset reconnaissance
Evidence gathering
Use of Tracking in VIP protection.
Anti-poaching techniques.

Latest technology techniques and equipment including:- NVGs, heat detectors, optics, remote transmitters etc.& methods of concealment.

You will gain a deep insight into tracking humans and animals simulated weapons will be used for scenarios
