Welcome to the new website. It is brilliant to be able to update the website easily. 2009 is brings lots of new and exciting courses to enjoy.
I am proud to announce the introduction of some new courses. The Backyard Nature Detective and The Wildlife Camera Operator Course.
Recently two new qualified wildlife instructors got their wings at the Outdoor Show at the NEC. Congratulations to Jamie and Jonathan.
Now that we have got more instructors on the ground, I can extend tracking to the various regions in the UK. Thats why the Backyard Nature Detective Courses is so important to me. It gets tracking out there ,to people who might not be able to travel to Devon.
We had a great trip to Poland and now looking forward to Namibia and our next trip to Poland in 2010.
I have been doing the rounds on public speaking , including the Outdoor Show at the NEC and will be talking about the Beast of Bodmin Moor at the Daphne Du Maurier Festival in May.

DAPHNE DU MAURIER
I have just returned from talking at the Daphne Du Maurier Festival in Fowey. It was amazing, out of the full theatre, the amount of people who knew about tracking astonished me. It was only a few years ago that tracking was considered as a mysterious , majical art, and people thought only native American Indians could do it. In those days mention tracking and people didnt know what to say.
Now, only a few years later, lots of tracking courses, a TV series and a book, people from all sections of society are enjoying a passion which has finally taken hold in the UK: TRACKING! Thankyou to you all.

Search & Rescue Tracking Course
Well done to those individuals who attended the SAR course in Sussex. I always look forward to the annual course run for UKLSI. It was a brilliant course with some exceptional people. The scenarios were tough and lasted until the small hours of the night. Every course has its own identity, and this was no exception.
They got two mispers on the night excercise, and were feet away from Nick, when they moved on.
They saw his tracks, but forgot one of my favourite sayings. " Walks like a duck, talks like a duck its a.penguin."
For some reason, they checked it twice , but didnt get to the penguin bit.
Well done to all of them and thanks to Nick.

New TV Series
Max has started filming a new TV series. It is an action packed program about tracking humans.
The production company have released the NON BROADCAST CLIPS

Annoucement at the Bushmoot Merthr Mawr. We will be doing a talk about tracking on Saturday 2pm. The talk is about Noom, and tracking in a few easy steps.
For many years I have wanted my close and personal friend from New Mexico, who is a Navahoe Medicine man, Navahoe Counsel Chief and excellent tracker to join us on a very special tracking course in the UK. I will annouce details at the Bushmoot.
