After writing Animal Tracks ID and Techniques, I said I would have to think twice about writing another book.
Maybe( and of course I can only guess) its like childbirth, you soon forget the pain.
I have once again taken up the mantle, and have found that , even since writing part of Mantracking Kuckilng down to ey Topics and Techniques, ( about two years ago) tracking has evolved, and I find myself re-writing chapters. Especially re-writing the qualities and skills of a tracker and the psychology of tracker. Strangely enough, to justice to a mantracking book you have to consider the bad guys ability to track, or counter and anti-track, sometimes not intentionally, but just that they are cunning.
