Shadowhawk Tracker School believes strongly in sustainable and ethical training. We do not discriminate between gender, religion race or culture.
A large part of our training is the result of the exchange of tracking skills, philosophy, survival and bushcraft knowedge, and are indebted to those who have been part of our training.
I have had the freedom of the bush during my life, and now, despite increasing laws and regulations. I feel that we, as responsible citizens should be able to experience the same freedom I have enjoyed.
The controls placed on people are the result of irresponsible behaviour, and the need to conserve areas, and protect them from human incursion. I am passionate about freedom to nature , and always work with the authorities to gain access to special areas . This is done on a basis of trust, and a testimony to the clients that I have.
They say "take only photographs and leave only footprints". I would say we need more. " Take only photographs, leave good memories with the wildlife and take your footprints with you".
We would like to thank all the tribes, families, clans and students of tracking , not just of today, but of yester-year and the future.
